Every order is custom, so these terms keep things clear for you and for Nica. Sending an order request means you’ve read and agree to them.

Quotes and ordering

Every order is custom and quoted individually. A request through the website, a text, or social media is not a confirmed order.
Orders need at least 2 weeks’ notice before the event date. Shorter notice is only accepted if Nica confirms it.
Your order is confirmed once you approve the quote and the deposit is received.

A deposit of 50% of the quoted total reserves your date. The date isn’t held until the deposit is received.
The remaining balance is due at pickup or delivery. Orders aren’t released until they’re paid in full.

2 weeks or more before your event: your deposit is refunded, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Less than 2 weeks before your event: the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations must be sent in writing, by text to 239-269-3060. The time the message is received is the time used.
If Nica has to cancel your order for any reason, every payment you made is refunded in full.

Changes to the date, size, flavors, or design should be requested at least 2 weeks before the event. They depend on availability and may change the price.
Changes requested less than 2 weeks before the event can’t be guaranteed.

Pickup times and details are confirmed with your order.
Once an order is picked up, it’s your responsibility. Carry cakes flat, in an air-conditioned car, never in the trunk.
Delivery starts at $25 and is priced by the order and the distance. Someone must be there to receive the order.
Once a delivery is dropped off or set up, responsibility passes to you or your venue.

Products are made in a kitchen that is not allergen-free and may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.
Please share any allergies when you order. No item can be guaranteed allergen-free, and you’re responsible for letting your guests know.
Toppers, dowels, supports, figurines, ribbons, wires, fresh or dried flowers, and some metallic or glitter decorations arenot edible. Remove them before serving.
Keep cakes cool and out of direct sun. Buttercream softens quickly in Florida heat. Follow the storage instructions given with your order.
Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida’s food safety regulations.

Every cake is handmade. Inspiration photos are a guide, and the finished piece may vary in color, shape, and detail. Colors on screens vary too.
By requesting names, images, logos, or characters on an order, you confirm you have the right to use them. Nica may decline any request.
Nica may photograph finished orders and share them on this website and on social media. Let us know when you order if you’d rather we didn’t.

Please reach out within 24 hours of pickup or delivery, with photos, so we can make it right where possible.
Because orders are perishable, refunds can’t be given for items that have been served, or for problems caused by transport, heat, or storage after pickup or delivery.
To the extent allowed by law, liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

When you send an order request, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone, email, event details, delivery address, and any photo or link you share.
We use them only to reply to you, quote, and fill your order. We never sell them or share them for marketing.
Requests are processed by our website host, Netlify, and delivered to our email.
This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
